Sources within Governor Brown’s office intimated that Brown would be signing the bill on Tuesday at the Google headquarters in Mountain View, CA. Google has been one of the leaders in driverless car technology and has been aggressively lobbying for the bill.
Driverless cars, also known as autonomous vehicles, use a system of computers, GPS and sensors to operate the motor vehicle without the need for a driver.
