Oscar Lopez, a 35 year-old man from Everett, MA, passed away last week when he lost control of his motor vehicle and went off the road while traveling on I-93.
A preliminary investigation into the circumstances of the fatal auto crash shows that his 2003 Toyota Echo “for reasons still under investigation” went off the right side of the road and struck a rock ledge. The collision caused severe damage to the front end of the car. Lopez, suffering from traumatic injuries, was pronounced dead at the scene of the car accident.
Lopez was not wearing a seatbelt when he was killed. The causes of the fatal motor vehicle accident continue to be investigated.
