{"id":886,"date":"2015-03-02T20:20:30","date_gmt":"2015-03-02T20:20:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bostonmacaraccidentlawyers.com\/blog\/?p=886"},"modified":"2015-03-03T11:25:38","modified_gmt":"2015-03-03T11:25:38","slug":"southbridge-ma-tow-truck-driver-killed-on-mass-pike-while-towing-a-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bostonmacaraccidentlawyers.com\/blog\/southbridge-ma-tow-truck-driver-killed-on-mass-pike-while-towing-a-car\/","title":{"rendered":"Southbridge, MA Tow Truck Driver Killed On Mass Pike While Towing A Car."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having your car break down on a major highway is probably one of the worst ways to start or end your workday.\u00a0 Picture this: you\u2019re driving along, minding the ebbs and flows of traffic, when suddenly, one of your tires blows out.\u00a0 Maybe it comes as a surprise, or maybe you had been waiting to save up enough money to replace the bald tires you\u2019d been using since 2003.\u00a0 <strong>Either way, one of your only options, unless you\u2019re mechanically savvy enough to replace the tire, is to call a tow truck.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many people take for granted the service that a tow truck offers.\u00a0 For a relatively modest fee, tow truck drivers will essentially \u201crescue\u201d you from the terrible situations that you may find yourself in.\u00a0<strong> It is their duty to reassure you and address whatever automobile needs you might have.\u00a0<\/strong> Unfortunately, people don\u2019t realize what a valuable service tow truck drivers offer until a disaster happens.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V3-5xNnqbaI\" width=\"400\" height=\"280\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>On Wednesday, February 11, 2015, Kevin St. Pierre drove his flatbed tow truck onto the Massachusetts Turnpike in Sturbridge.<\/strong>\u00a0 Kevin worked for the Sturbridge Service Center, a garage in the area known for helping out stranded drivers.\u00a0 That morning, he was on his way to a call from a person on the Mass Pike near exit 10 in Auburn, MA.\u00a0 When Kevin arrived to the scene, the driver told him that his car had a flat tire and that he did not have a spare.
