\"Boston,<\/a>A man and a woman were recently injured after their car went off of a 30-foot embankment in Springfield, MA<\/a> and landed on its hood in a brook.<\/strong> According to local Springfield fire authorities, the man\u2019s car was partially submerged in water when firemen first arrived at the scene of the car accident. The male and female were standing waist-deep in the brook when fire authorities arrived, and a gurney and rope were used to haul the woman up the side of the embankment to safety. Both individuals were taken to the emergency room at the Baystate Medical Center where they were treated for their personal injuries<\/a>, the extent of which are not known at this time.<\/strong> The cause of the car accident<\/a> is currently under investigation.<\/p>\n
