Woman Killed in Three-Car Crash in Springfield, Massachusetts.

A female passenger, 34, was killed after her 2001 Ford Explorer, being driven by a 41-year old man, collided with two other motor vehicles.

The car accident occurred on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at around 3:30 p.m., on I-291 westbound at the ramp to I-91 southbound in Springfield, Massachusetts.  

The driver of the Explorer suffered minor personal injuries, and was transported to the Baystate Medical Center emergency room.  Two minors were riding in the back seat, and apparently suffered no personal injuries, but were transported to Baystate Medical as a precaution.

Massachusetts State Police and the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the circumstances of the auto crash.
