Local authorities in Lodi, California are investigating the circumstances of a disastrous six-car auto accident, in which six people have died and six others were injured.
This past Tuesday, October 22, 2013, a sport utility vehicle sped towards the intersection of Ham Lane and Vine Street. Witnesses report seeing the male driver of the SUV talking on his cell phone, as his motor vehicle approached the intersection at frightening speed. In the resulting crash, six cars were damaged and six people have been hospitalized. Six other individuals, including three children and a pregnant woman, died. The wrongful deaths occurred either on the scene or en route to the hospital.
Lodi Police are currently investigating the circumstances of this tragic auto accident. An accident reconstruction team is attempting to establish the exact details of the crash. The driver of the SUV is currently hospitalized and has not been arrested. Lodi Police did serve two search warrants in connection with the car crash.
In the meantime, the members of the victims’ families are demanding answers and government action for the wrongful deaths of their loved ones.
